Summary

We are looking for a highly organized Campaign Project Manager to oversee and execute the campaign strategies in preparation for the St. Louis County Senior Tax Levy campaign anticipated for the April 2026 election. This role requires exceptional project management skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for community engagement, especially in advocating for the needs of older adults.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Implementation: Collaborate with the Consultant firm to execute the campaign plan, managing timelines and work plans for key county-level activities leading up to Election Day.
  • Grant Management: Draft applications and complete grant reports; oversee the communication plan, including website management and coordination with committees on key messaging.
  • Fiscal Management: Work with the Executive Committee to oversee the budget, managing income and expenses in coordination with the fiscal sponsor.
  • Community Outreach: Build relationships with Steering Committee, volunteers, community groups and leaders to ensure inclusive participation and voice in the campaign process.
  • Communications Strategy Oversight: Customize communications materials with Missouri Council on Aging (MCOA) Senior Tax Levy materials to align with polling results; organize community education presentations, manage the development of a dedicated campaign website and social media presence.
  • Committee Organizing and Management: Collaborate with subcommittee chairs to implement strategies, facilitate weekly meetings, and assist with fundraising efforts.
  • Training and Support: Support implementation of the Consultant firm’s comprehensive training to the steering committee on advocacy skills including canvassing sessions.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a marketing or advertising context.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in campaign management or similar roles.
  • Proven ability to develop, analyze, and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with website content management (e.g., WordPress) and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in desktop publishing software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email marketing tools (e.g., Constant Contact, Mailchimp).

Skills Required:

  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in grassroots organizing and community outreach.
