Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Voter Outreach Lead to join our team in support of Jami Cox Antwi’s campaign for the 78th District in St. Louis. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about grassroots organizing and looking to make a tangible impact in their community.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the campaign’s data-driven field program in the district.
- Execute voter contact efforts, such as phone banks, canvasses, and voter registration for volunteers in the area.
- Recruit, develop, and train volunteer teams and leaders.
- Ensure that all metrics related to field activities are properly tracked.
- Work directly with the candidate to meet deadlines to achieve field goals.
- Establish clear lines of communication between the volunteer leaders, the candidate, and supporting organizations.
- Assist the candidate and volunteers with additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- At least 1 cycle of political campaign experience preferred
- Very well organized; excellent written, verbal and presentation communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and outside organizations and be able to multitask without sacrificing quality of work.
- Demonstrated understanding of political climate and issues of Missouri.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to engage directly with voters, including canvassing and phone calls.
- Ability to exercise superb judgment and political savvy.
- Ability to foster a cooperative, team-oriented work environment.
- Must possess a laptop, smart phone, a valid driver’s license, car insurance, reliable access to transportation.
- Understanding of campaign hours and an ability to keep an effective schedule and travel throughout the district as needed
Desirable:

- Experience working canvassing tools (VAN and/or miniVAN)
- Experience training volunteers
- Other hard or soft campaign skills, like field experience or advocacy
