Purpose of Position
The Missouri Workers Center is seeking Community Canvassing Interns to support our community base-building efforts. Interns will help build public awareness of MWC campaigns, expand our community supporter list, and engage directly with people at public events. This is an ideal opportunity for students interested in labor organizing, local politics, and public engagement.

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Table and canvass at community events, festivals, and public gatherings.
- Engage community members in conversations about worker rights and campaigns.
- Collect contact information to grow our supporter and volunteer lists.
- Accurately track and input collected data.
- Represent Missouri Workers Center in a positive and professional manner.
- Additional opportunities:
- Attend worker and community meetings, rallies, and public actions.
- Participate in MWC organizer-training sessions.
- Learn directly from experienced labor organizers.
